I do this because I need to take lots of pills daily
I know, water, water everywhere, however which water is best for my needs? Over time, I have chosen to drink only distilled water. These are my reasons.
I take a lot drugs and supplements daily. A lot means 42-45 pills a day. That’s a lot. I must take all these pills a few at a time without getting to sick to take them.
I have osteoporosis and have needed to take natural calcium supplements every day
Due to some of the medications I that needed to have, I now have other aliments. I have to take more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. By way of example, I have gotten osteoporosis and have needed to swallow calcium bone pills daily. This is because of sustained use of Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. As a result, I am required to swallow several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to help with my osteoporosis. That is the reason why I must take so many more pills than most people. When taking my pills, I cannot help but notice chemical smell of our tap water.
Maybe it is unavoidable, but my county always has had water with a very high content of chlorine. I can taste it easily. I get legally required and published water analyses that indicate the district’s water has a lot of chemical additives. These chemicals worry me.
I mean, naturally, some chemicals would be there, because the water flows over rocks. But, I worry a lot about the additives. The water authority services a large population, and they must ensure that our tap water is safe to drink. Check out the information that come with your water bill, and you’ll see what I mean. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I’m actually glad I read them.
With distilled bottled water, I can swallow all my drugs, supplements and vitamins
A while back my uncle came to visit me and we talked about water quality. Since he travels a lot, and he said that he always carries distilled water. I asked him why distilled? He said that it’s the only water knows is pure. In addition, he can purchase distilled water in any grocery store.
That was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. After learning about his use of distilled water, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of intestinal problems, I now have to take more pills. Besides my medicine for Crohns, I also must get down vitamins, including multivitamins and some extra vitamins along with a calcium pyruvate 1000 supplement following my doctor’s orders.
Crohns Disease causes me to be very sensitive to smells that make it so that I can’t keep my medicine down. Therefore, things work better to use only distilled water, because I must always swallow all my drugs, supplements and vitamins every day.
